Hey, there!
I’m Elena and I’m the owner and artist behind Elena Grigore Photography. I was born and raised in Romania and moved to the US in my early 20’s. Cameras and photos have been in my life since I can remember …my father had a passion for photography and built a dark room in our home. Growing up in communist Romania, there wasn’t a lot of smiling or laughing in photos and so, my father would take candids of myself and our family. All those pictures are incredibly dear to me .
When I became a parent, photography quickly became an obsession and I turned into a mom with a camera. I loved capturing candids of my daughter and her friends..and then those friends and their families.. before I knew it, photography became my happy place and my passion.
I love capturing my clients in a way that is artistic, real, romantic and full of life and I fall in love with every single family who trusts me to capture them.
My sessions are fun, laid back and take place in some of the most beautiful parks in Chicago or in the comfort of your own home.
I am a dreamer who believes anything is possible. I am so glad you are here.

This is Mia . She is sweet and funny and takes great pictures herself. When possible, she comes along to the shoots and makes em even more fun!
